Elder Law Attorney
Ricardo Cavalcanti
Ricardo D. Cavalcanti was born and raised in São Paulo-SP, Brazil before moving to Orlando, FL in 2017. He earned his bachelor in laws degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) in 2015, when he started working as an attorney in Brazil, until he decided to move to the U.S. in 2017 to pursue a legal career abroad, earning his juris doctorate degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2020. He is currently a member of both the Brazilian Bar Association and the Florida Bar, and is passionate about using his experience and knowledge as an attorney to assist families in understanding and using the appropriate legal tools and instruments to protect their legacy and to provide and care for their loved ones.
As an immigrant, Ricardo is very familiar with the struggles and challenges that many families had to overcome to build enough wealth to secure a better future for themselves and their families for future generations. He is determined to make sure the result of all that work and effort is treated properly and arranged to allow families to worry less about the future and more about enjoying and cherishing their time together.
In his personal time, Ricardo enjoys maintaining a healthy workout routine, going out to restaurants with his wife and friends, and experiencing different types of food. Ricardo also loves cozying up at home with his family to watch movies and reality TV shows together and building Lego sets to have displayed around his home as decoration.
