Do I need an attorney for probate?

In Florida, you’re legally required to use a probate attorney in most cases. In the rare case that it’s not, it’s recommended because the process is so formalistic, thorough, and complex, and you don’t want to expose yourself to liability. There are many specific requirements, and the Florida courts don’t offer legal assistance for probate.
