I strongly believe that when you choose somebody to raise your children in the event that you couldn’t do it, you need to choose the person who would most likely raise them the way you would raise them. You shouldn’t be factoring money or current family situation into the mix. It’s your job through life insurance and savings to ensure that there’s enough money there for that person to raise your children. But choose people that have similar values that you see raising their children the way that you want to raise yours.
